Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC)

does rootpre.sh need to be run more than once on the same server for different versions of oracle?

I am installing oracle 11g on an AIX server that also has oracle 10g installed on it. Rootpre.sh was run for the the 10g install.

Since it is on the same server, even though it is a different oracle version and ORACLE_HOME, is it necessary to run rootpre.sh for the 11g install ?
