Customer master record created using Japanese characters

 We have set-up a Customer in R12 using Japanese characters in the address fields.

In the HTML forms the Customer data looks correct, but when we look at the customer address in the AR  transaction form it shows all the Japanese characters as squares.

How can we fix this in Oracle ?

Appreciate any advice.
