Total recall / flashback data archive

 I have been trying to investigate how total recall (TR) /flashback data archive works and it seems hard to find good documentation about it. Sure, I find lots about how to set it up but nothing that answers questions like:

- How do statistics work on a TR table ? Do you need to run special stats on these tables?

- Does the normal table indexes also work on the historic data?

- How does a partitioned table work with TR? Is the archived data partitioned too?

- If you create a materialized view on a TR table, does it also create all the history on that table?
