Oracle VM VirtualBox & Pre-built Appliance

I've recently download the latest version of VirtualBox 4.0.2 onto my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 laptop. I've also downloaded, and imported into VirtualBox, the Oracle Solaris 10 9/10 pre-build appliance. My main problem at the moment is that I cannot get the Oracle VM to connect to the internal LAN, no matter what setting I choose within settings for the Network Adapter. Can anyone help?
