P4112 versus P4114: lot source flag (IBSRCE) not managed properly

Hi, Why do not the P4112 take care of lot number source flag? Despite the fact our item / branch plant requires a lot number (F4102/IBSRCE='3'), the program doesn't handle this information ?(A73PC11) 

Do I have to use the P4114 in any kind  of inventory adjustments (in quantity and amount) ?

Why are the specifity of each of thesetwo transactions ?
