Need help with database migration from 8.0.6 to 8.1.7.4 on windows

 Hello,

I am planning to migrate our database from 8.0.6 to 10.2.0.4 on windows platform. I know that i have to migrate first to 8.1.7.4 before going to 10g. Could anyone please give me link/tips for step by step migration guide on windows for the said versions.

I tried migrating from 8.0.6 to 8.1.7. I tried steps mentioned in oracle documentation. But couldn't finish it. I had some doubts like

I am trying to follow oracle document [73854.1] to migrate. I am confused abt a point.

In Step 10, we are deleting oracle8 database service.

In Step 12, its asking to connect to oracle8 database and connect to server manager. When i do this, its showing "ORA-12560" error.
