Revaluation Amortization on 11i not working if asset migrated with Revaluation Reserve

 Hi,
could someone provide insight to this issue? If I make a revaluation thru revaluations form, revaluation reserve is depreciated in every period along with standard depreciation. But if I create (migrate) an asset with revaluation reserve, there is no revaluation amortization, just standard depreciation in every period.
All revaluation related check boxes in book controls are checked.
