requirment for oracle spatial to be installed...

 Hi... This may not be posted to the correct forum but here goes...

I have a customer who is using Oracle EBusiness suite 11i. They has Oracle spatial installed which is a licenced product.  The question is does Oracle EBusiness actually require that the Spatial product is installed and basically what is the licence position when this is the case ?

Any help on this matter would be most appreciated.
