User rate/amount for ALC/MRC currency while using Additions and or Adjustment API

 Is it possible to use provide user rate/amounts for ALC/MRC currency while using Additions and or Adjustments API??

I know that post mass additions will use the details in fa_mc_mass_rates table to override the info at the gl_daily_rates
level for additions and adjustments.

Since post mass additions also internally calls Additions/Adjustments API, was wondering if the same desired rate/amount
can be provided while independently using the additions/adjustments API either in a custom program or an anonymous block.

We intend to use Additions API and or Adjustment API with Invoice level details.
