Upgrading EBS on Windows 12.0.4 to 12.1.1

Has anyone successfully completed an upgrade on Windows from 12.0.4 to 12.1.1?  I'm trying to upgrade following Document ID 752619.1 without success.  Most of the documentation is for upgrading from 11 to 12.  Any guidance is welcome.  Thanks, Carmen.
