Reg: Pick/Ship Specific Items from Specific Subinventory

 Hi,

We have a requirement to pick/ship specific items from a specific subinventory. Say item 'X' to be picked/shipped from 'HL10' subinventory. To achieve this:

1. When we defined a default Shipping subinventory for the item in the item master (Order Management) tab, it created a item transaction default of type 'Shipping'. We don't know if this is the expected behavior as we couldn't find any documentation stating the same.

2. With the above configuration, nothing worked as expected. On pick release of the order, the order was picked from a different subinventory like 'HL01' instead of 'HL10' (although stock was received in HL10 before HL01 subinventory using a Misc Receipt). The pick release is done using a rule that has no default subinventory except th default staging subinventory/locator. The pick release rule has the 'Auto Pick' confirm set to 'No' and the 'Auto Allocate' set to 'Yes'. The picking creates a move order with allocation showing the subinventory HL01 instead of HL10.

Howdy, Stranger!
