users with 'system' uids...

Hello,
We have a 7410 exporting various shares via nfs4 to a range of boxes running RHEL5. User info is all provided via ldap, and for the most part works well. The exception to this is for accounts with low uids. For example, the apache user has a uid of 48 (the RHEL default for apache), however any files created on these nfs4 shares from apache servers end up being squashed to 'nfsnobody'. Attempting to add a root directory ACL for the 'apache' user produces an 'unknown or invalid user' error.

Exporting an NFS4 volume from our SAN to the same webserver and creating a file as apache works fine, so this is not a client-side or id mapping issue.

Howdy, Stranger!
