Fuzzy File Comment on startup of managed standby database

 I am getting the following error when I startup our managed standby database..

WARNING! Recovering data file 117 from a fuzzy file. If not the current file
it might be an online backup taken without entering the begin backup command.

Background..

Our slipup .. we created a couple of new datafiles on the primary, but we didn't have the exact same space available on the standby server (our oversight) so the disk wasn't big enough to hold the new file, the standby logs tried to create it and it gave it a funky name.  Once we got the space issue resolved I copied over the production file to the standby I brought up the database into mount mode and renamed the file so it showed up right in the dba_data_files.. but now upon every restart we get that error...  I have
