ORA-30014 on import - IMP-00003/00017

Long time since I had to ask any questions, I hope somebody might have a workaround for this.
Scenario:
- We received a dmp file (from EXP) from a client, but we cannot load some tables due to the error (more info below);
- We have tried to create the table ourselves without all the storage clauses BEFORE running the IMP and it will work by cutting out the RETENTION keyword;
- We then import with IGNORE=Y but it still tries to create the table and fails;
- I would expect it to skip the "CREATE TABLE...." as it already exists and therefore it should skip to the data import;
