US PAY: Priting Postnet Bar Code On Payroll Check Using 'Check Writer XML' job

edited Mar 6, 2011 2:54AM in Payroll and OTL - EBS (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered
We are planning to implement Check Writer XML and our requirement is to print the postal bar code (postnet) on the pdf file (on check stub). As oracle don't provide any fonts, we purchased postnet fonts from external vendor (idautomation), while using the fonts we found out that the zip code available in check writer xml file is not in required format.
For e.g. if zip is 77064 then idautomation font needs to convert this zip into USPS format using check digit which is the value in double quotes "(770646)" where the last digit (6) is the check digit for zip code 77064. As this re-formatted value is not available in xml file, we are not able to use this in the check writer template.

Howdy, Stranger!
