Logical Standby Trace File - RFS LogMinerEncountered exception [604]

I am working through getting an Oracle 10gR2 Data Guard Logical Standby using SQL Apply in the real-time apply mode set up.

I've run into the following problem that I'm struggling with and would greatly appreciate any advice on how to handle it.

On the standby server, there is a a trace file in the udump directory to which the same message is being written every minute:

*** 2011-03-03 12:23:42.486
RFS LogMiner [snc]: Encountered exception [604] while querying apply info.
*** 2011-03-03 12:24:42.526
RFS LogMiner [snc]: Encountered exception [604] while querying apply info.

Updates being applied on the Primary are not getting applied "real-time" to the Standby, so I assume the error being generated has caused the real-time apply to be stopped.

Howdy, Stranger!
