Can one add new drives to an existing ASM DISKGROUP so ACFS can be installed.

Okay, new question. I have created a 11.2.0.2 RAC on Windows 2008 R2. I chose ASM as the storage for all datafiles including OCR and voting disks. I have two additional RAW drives that I was hoping to use as OCFS but am getting errors. So now I am thinking of using ACFS instead.

My setup is as follows:

+OCR_VOTE                        1gb        1gb     1gb

+DATADISKGP01                750gb

+FLASHDISKGP01              750gb

Now I'd like to take the two additional drives (SAN STORAGE), one is 752gb and one is 304gb, combine them into one drive of 1056gb.Then add the new drive as an ACFS Volume.  I assume that I need to stamp these as ASM then add them to the +DATADISKGP01 as an ACFS volume. Will this work?

Howdy, Stranger!
