Updating Canned Installed Base Transaction Subtypes

Oracle Depot Repair Implementaiton Documentation for 12.1.3 states:

Non Source information is required for the Service Activities associated with the Repair Types Exchange, Advance Exchange, and Replacement. In these cases, to transfer the warranty, the Non Source Info region should have Reference Reqd check box selected. This ensures that at the time of shipping the new item, the 3-10 Oracle Depot Repair Implementation Guide warranty information is transferred.

However, when I attempt to check this box in the Installed Base Transaction Subtypes, it tells me that the error "FRM-40200: Field is protected against update."

Is there a way to update the canned Service Activities so they are set up the way the Oracle implementation documentation says is required to transfer the warranty?
