Help required for ORA-24761

Hi

Does any one pls. tell me about ORA-24761 error. One of the module in the application is throwing this error.

ORA-24761: transaction rolled back
Cause: The application tried to commit a transaction and the server rolled it back.
Action: No action required.

Above is the description of the error. On what scenerio, this error will occur or Is there any Oracle database bug. DB version is 11.2.0.2
