oracleasm createdisk not working in OEL6

Hi All,
I know that OEL6 is officially not out. However, i was testing 11gR2 on OEL 6 and i came across this strange problem.

I have my iscsi targets discovered and and i have logged it. The Fdisk -l commands lists the disks. I 've partitioned them using the fdisk.

I have a similar 2 node RAC setup on RHEL 5.5 everything works like butter there. I understand that OEL6 comes with the ASM library. The only additional thing that i did was to install the ASM support RPM for OEL6.  Now coming to the original issue, After i configure oracle lib using oraleasm configure, i am unable to create the disks using
