Closing the Inventory Accounting Period Results in Error - Untransferred Distributions Exist

Hi,
We're  closing  the Inventory period and encountered an error.  "There exist(s) 62 untransferred distribution(s) in MTL_TRANSACTION_ACCOUNTS". 
What could be the cause of error.
