Transaction Type

  Can someone let me know how the system populates the Transaction Type when Additions API is used or during Post Mass Additions.

I noticed that the lines coming from PA are tagged as transaction type = MASS ADDITION. 

If I create an asset with lines just like PA, they are tagged as transaction type = INVOICE ADDITION

I wanted to know if we can have our own transaction types or if we can default oracle seeded transaction types like say MASS ADDITION for lines not coming from PA as well.

If yes, can you please point to the appropriate code.
