listener not behaving properly
Hi Everyone,
I have three Oracle homes and three listeners using the same default name on one server. Oracle version is 10.2.0.4.
One of the listener now listens for all the databases in all the oracle_homes, even though the listener.ora file only listed the databases in its own home. when I stop and start the listener, the status show that it is listening for its own databases, but shortly after, all the other databases showed up in the status again. The other two listeners work fine and are listening to the databases in their own homes.
I know I could delete and recreate this listener. But Why this happens? I did at one point added one database from another home to this listener, but later removed this entry.
