Depreciation Method Definition

 Hi Folks,

We have following requirement, so please explain me how to define Depreciation method for following scenario.

Our prorate calendar is Daily basis, My GL calendar is Monthly basis.

We have added an asset on 10-Mar-2000 and asset life is 10 Years and asset cost is 100000. and depreciation % is 10% and it is STL method only. so my asset end date as follow. 09-Mar-2010

for the first month in Mar-2000 depreciation as follow.

Asset Cost  -   100000

Asset Clearing 100000

When we ran the depreciation

Depreciation Exp 555.556

Acc Dep 555.556

For the month of Apr-2000

Depreciation Exp  - 833.333

Acc Dep - 833.33. it should be the same amount till Feb-10
