ECalendar Detail Applet Customization

 Hi All,
My Requirement is to customize the "eCalendar Detail Applet". I want to add one Same Customized applet (actually copy of the vanilla "eCalendar Detail Applet" but renamed) in the Applet toggle of "eCalendar Detail Applet". When you click on any vanilla buttons the vanilla applet like "Cancel", "Save This One" it will take you to the basic calendar view. But the same buttons are not working on the
Customized applet on the toggle. It gives error "Could not find 'View' named ''. This object is inactive or inexistent(SBL-DAT-00144)".

Could you please tell me if those methods are applet specific could you provide me any knowledge Document for that.
