buiding a standby

Hi everyone.

I am building a standby database based on a cold backup. I have created a standby control file and propagated it to my standby location. I have copied a day old cold backup to the same location. Then I started up my standby (startup mount; alter database recover managed standby database disconnect from session; ). At this point I checked the max sequence# on both primary and standby databases and it was identical - 82670. After that I have switched logfile on a primary side couple of times so the seq# there is 82672 now. I see the logfiles propagated to the standby location, but they are not being applied. What I see in the alert.log file on standby side is this
