We have some systems using this, so over time admins have put in memory args in the remote start options, so then your process has two different "Xms/Xmx" options listed in the PID listing, which is a little sloppy looking.
Of course at times we would need to use remote start options for isolation, but when you have multiple manager servers in a domain it gets to be a pain for admins who are not WL experts who just use the gui (example, backup on_call who are admins for other apps).
