Alloation process

 In General Ledger module, how the Allocation process is been used.

And what is the functionality, As I know it's simply means the cost allocation for Bench and Corporate projects.

And also I want to know how the Step's and Rule in Allocation can effectively used in this process. Is there any complete User Manual is available then share it to me.

And also I want to know about the Process flow..
