AME TOP_SUPERVISOR_PERSON_ID is empty

 I configured and setup AME for purchase requisitons.My requirement is to forward the requisition to our CFO for additional approval if the total amount > 50000.WHen I do my testing I get an error the CEO is lacking the approver. CEO is the last person in the approval chain and it does not have a suprevisor.Also the TOP_SUPERVISOR_PERSON_ID  is emty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
