Connecting to the oracle database from Applications OS user taking long time

 Hi,

I am using Oracle EBS R12 on single node RHEL5. There are two OS users one owns the database and other owns applications.

I am facing delay while logging in to the database from Applications OS user (applmgr) to the database. The same connection is taking only fraction of seconds if I connect from database OS user.

Also adadmin and adpatch utilities are taking longer time than normal.

Please let me know which area I should check for the issue as there seems no issue with the database performance.
