partial shipments and credit card payments

 We are trying to implement the use of CC from order entry.

We have partial shipments against a single order.Will the entire amount be charged against the credit card in this case when the order is authorized the first time?

If the auth code does not expire by the time the second shipment is sent out,will there be a second authorization done?If not how can we handle this without AR having to collect call each customer?
