Item Master List Price currency

Is there a possibility to have some inventory items List Price set up in USD and some in functional currency (CAD)?  Currently it's all in CAD and purchase requisitions are created by Min Max in CAD, but some suppliers are in USD and so PO's need to be in USD too.   Is it possible to do this, as now buyers are changing automatically created (from requisitions) PO's from CAD to USD.  They want PO's already to be in USD.

Do we need to set up a different sub/org in order to be able to do this?
