11.5.10 to R12.1.3 - Question on upgrade time

 Hi

We have recently upgraded our test ERP instance 11.5.10 to R12.1.3 version and it took 38 hrs for the main 2 patches

R12 Patch --> 6678700 --> 27 hrs

R12.1.3 Patch --> 9239090 --> 10 hrs

Our database version is 11g and size is 1TB and both application and DB tier in Linux.

I just want to know, is the above time inline with what others are experencing with R12 Upgrade?

What are all the ways to reduce above timing?
