Is there any way to set the default value in the 'Account Access'. 'Contact Access' & 'Opportunity A

Is there any way to set the default value in the 'Account Access'. 'Contact Access' & 'Opportunity Access' fields in the team setup sections..?
A company decision was made that if a user is added to the Team for a record type then they get full access to that record and it's related information.  I removed other access options from the pick list, however our users are still required to pick the only option which was left.

I take the line "In addition, you can define Required, Read Only and Default Value properties for non-system fields." to imply that I cannot set the default values for 'Access' type records as they are 'system fields', is this correct?  Or am I just looking in the wrong place to set the default values..?
