Impact of Item Description change on Historical Invoices

 We had to change the description on the Item. Now when we try to pull up historical Invoices related to the item that was changed it prompts "Rerun Autoaccounting" for each line.
How can this be avoided?

I do not want to re-run Autoaccounting.
