E-Business Suite R12 roadmap for XML Publisher 5.6.3

Would anyone be able to provide a roadmap for Oracle's integration of XML Publisher into E-Business Suite R12?

Those of us who use BI Publisher desktop for R12 are getting very excited about the great things the Desktop client and the regular improvements we see in the Desktop product, only to be confounded when we try to integrate these templates into R12. I find a lack of clarity around what should be in place, what the future holds and this inevitably leads to questions about whether the product is working as expected or not.

No hurry on this one - we're just upgrading to R12.1.3 and latest CPU only to find we're still stuck with 5.6.3 and Desktop 10.1.3.2.1 (sic)
