Purchase Orders sent via email with attached PDF are corrupt

Hi, I am using Oracle Ebix 11.5.10 and have been having issues sporadically with certain Purchase Orders that are sent to suppliers by email with an attached PDF. The PDF opens fine however when it is open it is completely unreadable with lots of strange characters. When the PO is sent to the supplier it also sends an email to a mailbox I have access too. I checked the PO in this mailbox and opened the PDF and it opened fine.

Does anyone have any ideas?
