Shortage Notification

 Hi,

i am trying to setup shortage notification , when a book a sales order for a potentially short item a back order is generated .

but there is no notification send to the planner or to the person booking the sales order , how will i send the notification at the time of order booking or when there is a back order.

Notification or any online intimation is done when any kind of recieving is being done for the Short Item and also in the transaction type for the sales order issue i cannot check  for the Shortage Notification.
