creating Physical standby database on same stroage disk as primary already exist

Hi to All,

               Just to avoid confusion can we create phyiscal standby database on same stroage  as primary database already exist is their any disk contension or any document anyone can provide.oracle version 10.2.0.4 64 bit on Windows 2003 x64 bit with normal database Single instance no ASM  nothing.
