PN:Problems with Normalization

Is anyone else having problems with Normalization? How are other companies getting around the fact that Oracle Property Manager is programed to calculate the liability based on the later of the last rent payment or the commencement date? If you put the amendement in the system two months after the commencement date the liablity does not get calculated correctly.
