Constrain on number of Columns in XML report

Hi ,

Plesae let me know if there is Constrain  on number of Columns to for creating a report in the XML.I have a new requriment to have a xml in excel format which will have 30 to 40 Columns , kinldy let me know will this Columns will create any problem.

I am also wondering if the rtf layout can accommodate all 40 Columns.

Please advice.
