How to tune SDU size to the maximum of 32768 bytes?

 Hallo,
I want to set the SDU size to the maximum of 32768 bytes so selects returning a lat of data are transferred over tcp with less acknowledge round trips. 
I run oracle 10gR2 server.
I changed the parameter in sqlnet.ora, listener.ora and tnsnames.ora, but I do not see the expected change in wireshark.

Is there a possibility to display the actual used value in a session? How can analyze the configuration?
