Question regarding Pay Types

 We are looking at changing some processess within our ourganization that would require our time keepers to longer be able to charge time to certain pay types.  Does anyone know if there is a way to put an end date on a pay type or hide it so it can't be used and selected within the time entry application in E1 Xe?   If not, does anyone know if E1 9.0.? offers this flexibility within the software?  It would be nice to be able to end a pay type as you do any other DBA if its no longer valid.
