Exporting Reports to Microsoft Excel 2010 from Hyperion Workspace

We are still currently running Hyperion Workspace version 9.3.1 for Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and have encountered a problem when trying to export a report to Microsoft Excel 2010 (only a couple of our users have been upgraded to Excel 2010). After running the report, the Excel 2010 user clicks File\Export\Excel\Fully-Formatted Grids and Text and is getting the following error message:

The file you are trying to open 'xxxxx.xls' is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?
