Stock Allocation to an Order and Picking and Shipping

 Hi,

While executing an order when does the Oracle allocates the stock to an order line and confirm it. We have a situation where there are six lines each having a different request date and Schedule Ship Date. All lines have Qnty=10.

1. Two lines are having Request and SSD of Current Date.

2. Rest are having Request and SSD of two months later.

But when doing pick releasing and shipping, oracle allows to ship lines with current dates and also lines with a future Request and Ship Dates. Why does Oracle allows to release and ship lines of future dates today?How can we defer releasing and shipping them to a future date and not now?
