Prior to any installation, upgrade or modification, it is advised that a full backup be done of all related environments.  This includes servers, file systems, repositories and databases within the related environments.


Oracle provides documentation to assist with Backup and Recovery of the Oracle's Hyperion System 9 and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems.


The "Backup and Recovery Guide", along with other important product documentation, is available from the Oracle's EPM Documentation website:

After selecting the product version, refer to either "Deployment" or "Installation & Backup" sections.
