Block corruptions found in the database

Hi,
We are using 11g R2 database. On two of our servers we are performing database cold backup using RMAN (i.e. by the keeping the database in mount mode we are taking the backup). Now got some block corruptions only these two servers. Does this process cause the issue? Why these block corruptions will occur?

Please explain.
