Moving inventory cost to projects upon Ship Confirm

Hi...in R12, we have OM, INV and Project Manufacturing modules. We want to track inventory costs by projects (project details are entered at the SO line level) Is it possible to move capitalizable inventory cost to Projects when a Sales Order is issued (ship confirmed)?
