Document sequence was not found for generating clause number. Check the document sequence setup.

I am getting the following error message when trying to create a special condition in Lease Management. 

Document sequence was not found for generating clause number. Check the document sequence setup.

One of the notes in Oracle Support suggests that document sequencing should be setup for the clause sequences.  However we have been using Special Terms for nearly 5 years in Oracle and have not had any problems.

Any ideas why I might be getting this error message?
