How is listener Established Connections per minute determined
A Customer reports strange Grid Control behavior:
They see an unexpected high number for the listener Connections per minute at approx. 03:00 in the night every day (number shows values like 3000-5000 only at this time, so a narrow peak is seen in the graph).
On other times the data looks normal.
They see this in the graph which can be seen as follows:
We have checked the following:
All is checked every 5 minutes using a cron job. We cannot find the cause for the fact that the Grid Control graph shows a peak of 1000s connections per minute round 03:00.

We have checked the following:
- listener.log
- netstat output
- v$process output
- lsncrtl status + services
